The literal translation of HOPE from the original Greek and Hebrew, is “A strong and  confident expectation.” Hope commands a person into action,  to BELIEVE that God is working and that he is moving within all situations.

Hope changes how we react, it draws us to a stance of offense, of diligent prayer and an expectation that  struggles of this world are temporary.  Hope also, changes what we value, it shifts focus from earthly struggles to a mind of things that are to come.  The promise of eternity with Christ for those who HOPE in him.

My stance on Hope is shifting.  It is my confident expectation that God will heal my son.  My HOPE is that Potter WILL be restored to complete health and wellness.  Pray for me, that my heart will continue to Hope with confidence and not as a last resort.

Zephaniah 3:17 The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.

Psalm 27:4-5 One thing have I asked of the LORD, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to inquire in his temple.  For he will hide me in his shelter in the day of trouble; he will conceal me under the cover of his tent; he will lift me high upon a rock.
