Got a call from a dear friend, she is the State Director for the March Of Dimes. She asked me to speak at the March for Babies coming up later this month.  Two years ago when we lost little, miss Ireland,  I became active with this GREAT organization.  The Director gave me a job {and a purpose}  I poured all of my efforts into creating a legacy for Ireland through the March of Dimes mission to help parents (and babies) receive proper prenatal care, education and support.

Recently my involvement with the MOD has slowed down, simply because there are not enough hours in my day! The director honored me with this opportunity to talk about my sweet Ireland to others who’ve experienced prematurity, stillbirth and infant death.  Although Ireland’s death has shaken our family to the core, there is great peace that comes from giving my daughter a voice.

As Horatio Spafford wrote in his song; It is Well with my soul.

I’ll never forget or “get over”  the weight of death in my arms, but I am so very thankful for the hope of tomorrow and opportunities like the March of Dimes, to speak out for my precious girl!
